Kinds of Bad Habits
Nowadays we can see that most people have bad habits, and sometimes we don’t know that we are doing many things that put our health at risk. Bad habits interrupt our life and kill our productivity. Our mood gets bad and decreases our energy. When we allow that bad habit to take care over, our life can change immediately. It’s the beginning of something that can damage our life. There are several kinds of bad habits including: smoking, eating fast food, and spending a lot of time watching TV.
First, smoking is a bad habit that many people can’t control, and in some cases if we don’t smoke but we are in touch whit this kind of people, we automatically convert to passive smokers, and this is the first cause of mortality around the world because it might cause cancer, bad breath, and some tooth disease.
Second, eating fast food is very dangerous because it is highly processed and contains large amounts of carbohydrates, added sugar, unhealthy fats and sodium. These foods almost always have high calories and they never give us the nutrition that our body requires. If we continue eating fast food, in a short time we will increase our risk of obesity. We will also starve and we will get a risk of heart disease. Our memory and mental health will decline and our skin will deteriorate, and certainty we will bloat.
Third, spending a lot of time watching TV can provoke us some consequences because we can spend hours not doing anything else, we missing our social interaction, sometimes TV shows have a lot of violence most of them are negative, it can create unrealistic expectations because life is never going to be like a TV Show and TV is designated to make us feel bad, so we will buy products that make us feel better, our muscles stops when we are sitting and live a sedentary lifestyle.
Finally, I believe that all of us have bad habits, but I think that is important to quit from our life because it can interrupt our goals. It can damage our health mentally and physically. If we have some kinds of habits we waste our time and energy. We know that everything in excess is bad, for this reason, we should be in balance and is important to accept that we have bad habits and if we to have a better life, we need to change our habits in order to improve our lifestyle.
