Kudler Fine Foods: Training for New Cash Registers Memo

Located under Administration > Communications

After reading and evaluating the memo from Kudler Fine Foods (Training for new Cash registers Memo) I want to try and speak on five points: Organization, Clarity, Tone, Writing Style and How you reacted to this memo.

The organization of this memo is fine because it gets to the point of the memo without talking about unimportant facts. A memo normally states who the senders and the receivers are but in this memo there is no way to tell who sent it and who it is addressed too, it also looks a little basic by not sharing enough information, it was short not providing important information that may have been missed. The only reason I knew this was a memo is because it was written on the top of the page; it did not come out as a memo so the clarity would be little to none. Like I said above, they could have provided more information leaving all question answered about the new NCR RealPOS 30 terminals and the training. After reviewing this memo the tone was not apparent, this memo had no feeling and no personal touch, and since you cannot determine who the letter was addressed to and who sent the memo. This memo shows no connection making it seem distant but straight to the point. The writing style of this memo is basic like I stated above, there was no personal touch to this memo giving no needed information because it is short and straight to the point. This memo should have been double spaced covering at least half the page and it should address who sent it. My first reaction to this memo was where is the rst of the information, if I was to read this at my work place there would have been a lot of questions that would have needed to been answered or I would not have taken it as serious as I needed.
