1. Introduction

William Henry Gates III or Bill Gates is an American born business magnate who is a co-founder of Microsoft along with Paul Gardner Allen. Gates also known as the world wealthiest and richest man since year 1995. Bill Gates is a son of William H. Gates Sr. and Mary Maxwell Gates who born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1955. In 1973, Gates graduated from Lakeside School and was a National Merit Scholar who scores 1590 out of 1600 on SAT. Then, he enrolled at Harvard College and devised a solution to one of the series of unsolved problems.

Later, Gates dropped out from Harvard College and establish Microsoft alongside his partner Paul Allen in year 1975. Gates has been a CEO of Microsoft until January 2000 which is when he decided to establish Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. However, Gates remained other position such as Chief Software Architect and as the chairman of Microsoft until February 2014. Now Bill Gates acts as Technology Advisor of Microsoft and Co-Chair of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

2. What are the major skills in each profile that have made the successful leaders?

Based on the article, the major skill Bill Gates had were the programming ability which he had practiced and learn in his seventh grade. That was the foundation to his current Microsoft Company. He could not have invested and involved in the industry without the foundation he had. Moreover, Bill Gates joined the software development organization and used his knowledge to excel. At such early age and the era where computers are still alien to many, Bill Gates had enough experience to write a new program.

Another most important skill Bill Gates had was the growing and learning ability. At that point of time, seventh grade students would have some common interest, but Bill Gates were growing and had interest in learning something which interest him at young age. He does not only learn, but tried to grow by spending more time on writing programs and spent time to do it as independence study. This highlights the growing and learning ability of Bill Gates which had been his strong skills for his current
