The thing that I learned out of this simulation activity was in 1998 there was an American Oil Company investing in the Costa Rica land to explore and drill for oil which made many Costa Ricans angry because they argued it was in violation of their environmental policy. Was it who was to actually say but they dropped the oil company in 2002 and that year the oil company sued them for 57 billion dollars and Costa Rica only has a GDP of 17 billion which was very crazy on the part of the oil company. Eventually the company dropped the claim and the government of Costa Rica is still looking for ways to pay back the company for its losses.
Issues that are involved in the legal disputes of international transactions are determining which type of court system and rules are needed in order to continue with the dispute, if you are taking legal action against a foreign business partner you may want to consider the risks you might encounter like how you would like to be viewed by many potential partners in the foreign market and whether or not you will still be on good terms with the partner you have already after all is said and done, the factors that should be looked at with cadmex are whether or not they are willing to break the agreement with gentura on payments and other legal business matters or help a good many people and be happy that you did to me it's an ethical dilemma cadmex is facing, the laws that I believe should prevail in this situation depends on where the business adventure takes place if it's in the united states then I think the laws of the states prevails but if it's in another country then the laws of that country prevails because you should listen to where ever you may be doing the business.
