MEMORANDUM

TO: InterClean Inc. Managers

FROM: All Management

SUBJECT: Manager Behavior

The motive of this communication is to update the entire staff of supervisors and management at InterClean of the upcoming merger of EnvironTech. This document should summarize and clarify the behavior of managers and how it can affect the production in their employees. This memo speaks to the different managing activities and laws that govern employment. There is discussion in the memo of what is called common sense procedures that are intended for making in a diverse place of employment.

This memo serves as an introduction in the process of procuring EnviornTech and how the behavior the manager can affect the output of employees. Managers are obligated to show equality in preserving employees. To keep employees in place managers should practice certain behaviors such as (1) satisfying employees for executing their jobs successfully (2) safeguarding pleasant relations among workers and managers and (3) a safe, wholesome work place. For instance, managers should work hard to promote equality to all parties and not state his/hers individual sentiments until after both employees have voiced their opinions. After listening to all sides of the situation, accurate fact-finding and recognizing a solution for a quick and timely will cause the employees to buy into the resolution and gain confidence with the business and remain with the company. When a loss of an employee occurs the organization suffers and productivity will slow down. A current survey discovered that 5 factors influences retaining workers that are (1) job expansion openings, (2) self-assurance in impending advancement, (3) goals of achievement, (4) happiness in the work place, and (5) feeling secure in the work-place.

Another reason in how a manager's actions will influence the company's productivity is the workers approach towards its clientele. Managers are obligated to be alert of employee's attitudes and talk to the workers as soon as the manager notices a problem this will help to avoid added pressure. Tension can cause employees to strike back by being late to work or to not turn up for work at all. The open door policy supports the work environments and reduces work-life stress (Cascio, 2006). Noticing the stress and addressing it, the manager can generate a setting to help workers to manage stress levels and produce equilibrium between work and life. When employees are stressed, production will fall.
