Please be sure to follow the instructions below.

Logging in

1. Launch your web browser.

2. Go to the myNEU portal (http://myneu.neu.edu).

3. Log in to the portal using your username and password.

Finding "Registration"

1. Click on "Student Self Service."

2. Click on "Registration."

3. Click on "Add/Drop Courses."

4. Select the term you wish to register for: Spring 2012 Semester.

Adding Classes--Class Search

1. Select "Add/Drop Classes" from the menu.

2. If you have not yet selected a term, you will be prompted to do so. Carefully select the appropriate graduate term.

3. Register by searching for a course:

a. Click "Class Search" at the bottom of the page.

b. Enter the subject on which you would like to search.

Course Code starts with... Corresponding Subject

ACCT Accounting

ENTR Entrepreneurship & Innovation

FINA Finance & Insurance

HRMG Human Resources Management

INTB International Business

MECN Managerial Economics

MGMT Management

MGSC Management Science

MKTG Marketing

SCHM Supply Chain Management

STRT Strategy

c. Select Course Level: Graduate

d. Select Campus: Virtual

4. From the list of courses returned, select the course(s) for which you would like to register by clicking the checkbox on the far left of the listing(s).

5. Click "Register."

6. Courses successfully added will appear at the top of the page under "Current Schedule". You're done!

Courses which encounter a registration error will appear in the middle of the page with information about the specific error encountered.

Registration Errors

You may encounter an error while registering. The most often is CLOSED SECTION. This means that the course you have chosen to add is full. Please select another section of the course or see your advisor. If all sections are full, contact your advisor immediately.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

1. Go to the Northeastern Barnes & Noble (http://northeastern.bkstore.com/) bookstore.

2. Select Textbooks from the top navigation menu.

3. Select the School Term "Fall Semester 2011"

4. Select the Department (this is the first half of your course code ie. MGSC for MGSC 6200)

5. Select the Course number (this is the second half of your course code ie. 6200 for MGSC 6200)

6. Select your Section (this is the CRN you used during registration)

- If you have forgotten your CRN, you may access it through your Registration History under the Self Service tab in myNEU.

7. Click the "Add Course" button to proceed.

8. Your course will populate to the right - select "View Textbook List" to access the materials.

Spring 2012 Registration Information

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Course Materials will now be listed on the Student Resource Center and stocked at Northeastern's Barnes and Noble Bookstore.

The Student Services Department will be closed December 24-26th. To ensure a successful registration, please register well in advance of the registration deadline.
