Doctor Holsinger had to make sure that all his employees are ready to use the new EHR vendor for patients so they can be comfortable when putting the patients in the systems. Also, his goal was to receive insurance reimbursement within 45 days of submission and $50,000 will be the maximum for the spending when comparing with the original price of EHR investment. He tested the EHR vendor six months before accepting his first patient in January 2003. The planning is important for Doctor Holsinger because he has the chances to know that his EHR vendor will bring him the benefit of having the systems and will not wasting his time. Some EHR vendors can go wrong due to the changes in the systems that can't be able to change as quickly
