Executive Summary

Service is the act of helping or doing work for someone. It is a system supplying a public need such as transport, communications, or utilities such as electricity and water. Service is also known in the politics world. In the world of politics , service is the main point of their job. This is emphasized especially during elections. Service is whether being lent with or without receiving something in return. During campaigns, politicians are full of flowery words where platforms are presented to the public showcasing the different services they want to offer if ever they will win in the election. This word is being used so much, when it came to the point that these politicians already forget the meaning of service because of their desire to win in the election.

Loyalty is the quality of being loyal to someone or something. It is also a strong feeling of support or allegiance. Loyalty is something being earn. In line with this, trust is also applicable. Most politicians are full of beautiful words and promises. That sometimes, politicians intend to forget all the promises they made during the campaign. As a politician, they should be loyal to the words they spilled during campaigns. As a public servant, their loyalty should always be in the right path and to the people.

Honesty is a component where one’s character will be able to develop. Being honest is something that should be built as young as possible. With this, the practice of being honest should start with the parents or in the family. Now, politicians are being imaged as big liars. Since most of them lied to the public for a certain service and yet after elections, that promise has turn into an ash of words. An election has already filled with negative outputs because of the attitudes showed by our very own politicians.

That is why we want to help this negative perspective into a positive one. True change will really start from us. We want to see that our dear politicians are really doing the things they promised during campaigns specifically in North Cebu City.

The Integrated Marketing Communications plan is all about promoting the real essence of service, loyalty and honesty. We can possibly do this one step at a time. This is meant to guide the public on how to judge and how to choose the right candidate in elections. Even after elections, this advocacy will still remain, for the public will know and see whether the elected candidate will really do the things he or she promised during the campaign. This is also to help the elected politicians serve the people. The chosen place is the Cebu city, and since Cebu city is wide place, one mayor, one vice mayor and 7 councilors really can’t accommodate all barangays together and firmly, and this is why this IMC plan can help the politicians really see the needs of the public. Upholding the true meaning of service and the value of honesty and loyalty
