Job Summary:

The primary role for the Materials Allocations Specialist is to serve as a liaison between departments including Customer Service, Shipping, Planning and Receiving. The main focus of this position is to manage allocated units and orders to be released to the warehouse supporting the labor planning needs. Delivering a world class service level that we have established here at Company X is essential. This candidate is required to have exceptional communication skills both written and oral. It is equally important to exhibition strong organizational skills. The culture of Company X, as well as the pace and change, demand a positive attitude, high energy, cooperated spirit and the ability to adapt to new challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary communicator between the Customer Care and Shipping Departments for inquiry request to the warehouse.

• Work closely with the management team in shipping to support labor planning in a changing environment within specified timeframes.

• Run daily reports to evaluate order types, order reasons, fill rates and required ship date to determine daily sales order/delivery drops.

• Create all shipping deliveries for shipping excluding XRUS order types.

• De-allocate and allocate Customer Care orders to support order maintenance.

• Process Canada for invoicing.

• Assist Shipping with Pick Pack reporting.

Experience and qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree with 5 years in Customer Care or 8 years of Customer Care/Allocation experience is preferred.

• High energy and a positive attitude are a must

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

• Must have strong organizational and analytical skills along with the capacity to work independently in a rapidly changing environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.

• Must have the service skills required to provide “Best in Class” service.

• The candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Sap and BI
