MECHANIZED CANE HARVESTING - CANE THUMPER
This machine is made in India in partnership with the German Manufacturer. They also have a sickle-sword tractor attachment capable of cutting 30-40 tons/day.
This sickle sword attachment by itself should be cheaper than the mechanized cutter, but it works off the PTO of a 4-wheel tractor. Therefore, the harvesting cost can be higher than for the cutter.
