Criminal Minds shows false capability of private databases and unrealistic forensic technology that distorts the truth of a police career. Violence serves as a distraction so that viewers can focus their attention to different things.

Music has a strong importance in filming. It sets the mood of whatever's being portrayed visually. Very limited suspense can be made without music, music has a strong power of controlling the tone of the segment being displayed.
