There are many differences between a woman's brain and a man's brain. Putting all jokes aside on who is smarter or has a bigger pain looking at the details show that the brain is different however; neither is better than the other. Scientist have worked for many years discoving the truth behind the difference in womans and mens brains. Discoveries have shown why woman and men act differently, handle a conversation differently, or why some strong suits go to woman and some to men. The major differences include the way each process information, mathematical abilities, reactions to stress, language, emotions, brain size, pain and spatial ability.

When a woman process information it seems to go through both hemispheres of the brain as in men they find it better to process in just the left hemisphere. This goes on to conclude why men are better handling situation with an approched problem solving technique and woman do so with creativity and awareness of feelings. According to studies it is also proves that most men do better in mathematical task than women. This is because the inferior-parietal lobule is larger in men then it is in woman. However; the inferior-parietal lobule is larger in woman on the right side to help with specific stimuli.. Research show that men have a fight or flight response to stressful situations is due to the hormones. When a person is stressed oxytocin is released, in women the oxytocin and estrogen tend to help with calming of the stress whereas in men the testosteron and oxytocin work against each other and they do not get the soothing to help with stress relief..

Language. Two sections of the brain responsible for language were found to be larger in women than in men, indicating one reason that women typically excel in language-based subjects and in language-associated thinking. Additionally, men typically only process language in their dominant hemisphere, whereas women process language in both hemispheres. This difference offers a bit of protection in case of a stroke. Women may be able to recover more fully from a stroke affecting the language areas in the brain while men may not have this same advantage.

Emotions. Women typically have a larger deep limbic system than men, which allows them to be more in touch with their feelings and better able to express them, which promotes bonding with others. Because of this ability to connect, more women serve as caregivers for children. The down side to this larger deep limbic system is that it also opens women up to depression, especially during times of hormonal shifts such as after childbirth or during a woman's menstrual cycle.

Brain size. Typically, men's brains are 11-12% bigger than women's brains. This size difference has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence, but is explained by the difference in physical size between
