Methodology
The purpose of the research was to determine similarities in usage and attitudes about public transport between Australians and international students In Australia. There were 92 respondents who participated in the study, select from Eynesbury in Adelaide. All of them responded voluntarily either through the written questionnaire or a personal interview, depending on one's literacy abilities.
The questionnaire contained 6 questions, all of which were closed-ended. The respondents selected possible answers for each questions.
The questionnaire was administered on 6th December 2012. It was divided into three sections. The first section covered demographic information such as gender, age and nationality. The second section dealt with what is the main form of transport you use for work and study? The final section focused on the reason of not using public transportation and the reason of using public transportation.
The results from the questionnaire were collected and converted into percentage. These details were then placed in graphs and charts in order to further analyse and compare the date.
