Abstract

As a newly appointed department manager in a department that is not performing well, a performance grading system is an important part of improving morale and productivity. Employees do not know where they are going wrong or where they are doing well, therefore by appraising them, the employee can improve. This paper will create a performance grading form used to grade the front-line supervisors.

Performance Review

As a newly appointed department manager in a department that is not performing well, a performance grading system is an important part of improving morale and productivity. Employees do not know where they are going wrong or where they are doing well, therefore by appraising them, the employee can improve. A performance grading form will be used to assess the front-line supervisor's performance. They will be graded on several areas which reflects what makes a good front-line supervisor. The form below will be used to evaluate the supervisors of this company. The parameter for which to rate the supervisor on are a scale from 1-9, with 1 being the low score and 9 being the high score. For each parameter, a justification rate and comment is given.

Communication Skills - 20%
