He grows up in an affectionate family. The year he turns fourteen, he marries the king's daughter despite of the king's order of him to get killed. The king is displeased and gives him the opportunity to collect three golden hairs from the devil. The boy is not afraid of anything and goes out to complete his mission.

He returns with three golden hairs and four asses of gold. The greedy king wants gold himself, and on the boys instructions, the king leaves to find the gold near the river. But instead of becoming rich, he gets punished for his sins

Summary:

A poor boy is born with a caul. With the caul follows a prophecy, which says that he will marry the king's daughter on his fourteenth year. The king gets angry when he hears that a poor boy will marry his daughter. He tries to kill the boy, but the boy survives.
