III. Causes of the Problem:
1) Has too many molds
2) Designs are complex
3) Has many steps for every figure
IV: Possible Solutions:
1) New strategy
2) Speed up process
3) Create new designs
V. Solution and Its Implementation
Solution: Mr. Boehm should create a new strategy.
1) Cut down on number of molds per figure
2) Combine as many molds together as possible
3) Get people to help him paint or put together pieces
4) Try different paint so only a layer or two is needed
VI: Justification:
The best thing for Mr. Boehm to do is to create a new strategy on how to create his porcelain figures. He has way too many molds for very figure he makes, so he will first cut down the number of molds and combine as many as he can. This way he will have bigger pieces to put together instead of having every little piece of the figure and having to put that together. He should also hire some help on design elements that he does not have to be a part of. This will help speed things up because he will not have to do every thing himself. He is also having to paint in several layers, so to cut down time he should find some other paint that is better to not have to paint so many layers.
