Music is the way to the soul. It helps with every situation in life. Whether you're sad, happy, or anywhere in between, there is a song or genre for you. One also connects songs with certain memories in their life. This could either help or hurt you. If you are trying to think of certain memory, hearing a song that you connected it to could help you remember. But, if you hear a song that you connected a bad memory to, it might be a good I idea to change the song. My favorite genres would probably have to be rap, hip-hop, country, dub step, and a little bit of alternative. One genre I cannot stand would have to be screamo. It may have good sound from time to time and meaningful lyrics, but I just can't handle the screaming. It stresses me out. Anyone can scream. It's annoying. Rap, it may seem degrading and pointless at times, but I just love how quick they talk sometimes and just the instrumental of the songs are good. Base is wonderful which is why I also like dub step. It has a constant bass pretty much through all of the songs. A really good dub step artist is skirllex. My favorite rapper is drake. He has a sexy voice, most of his songs have a good meaning, and he is just wonderful. Lil Wayne is a good rapper as well. One of my other favorites would have to be jeremih. My favorite girl rapper would have to be Rihanna. One thing I do not like is when hip hop and rappers go pop. It's annoying. The hard stuff is way better than pop.
