I was born in February of 1989.This for a very exciting time for my parents because their first child was being born. But it didn't stop just with me. While my mother was giving birth to me the world youngest couple 9 year old Martha Artundoaga and Antonio Calderon age 13 was also having their first child. Antonio had asked Martha not to tell him while she was pregnant but once the baby was born he knew he was the father. They have been recorded as the youngest two people to have a healthy baby girl. They were all on the news for this because of their ages. They were excited to be proud young parents. Since the baby was born Antonio and Martha moved in together to raise their child and plan on getting married

While others were busy having children, others were finding true love and that is exactly what 84 year old Lillian Walters and 34 years old Michael Walters were doing. They mat while he was installing her cable television and he had been coming around every since. They didn't tell everyone in the beginning because they didn't know how it would be taken. But after five years they got married despite the disagreements from the families. They protested their marriage because of their 50 year age difference and they truly did not believe in it at all. Seeing how Lillian's children were her husbands age. Even though the families did not agree they still attended the wedding. It some time for the family to get use to the idea of the mother being with such a younger man but they say they are now happy that she has found love again at her age. The couple are living and enjoying their life with each other.

Another event that happened at the time was the death of 14 year old Eric Cottam. He was starved to death by his parents. His father Larry Cottam got laid off from his truck driving job and his mother was unemployed. They didn't believe in taking any government assistance or help for other around them. They believed that the Lord would provide everything for them that they need. They even kept him home and home schooled him instead of letting him go to school to at least receive free breakfast and lunch. After his death both parents were charged with murder. All though the last event was tragic, these are just some of the thing that happened in my birth month. I sure that they are a lot more that can be found but these are only a few.
