Given the chance to describe about my course, English I: Study and Thinking Skills, I would say that this course is made to further improve and nourish the minds of the students in the proficiency of English. In my perspective view of the course, the course helps me to be more appreciate at the universal language. It is learned so that I would understand and fit more in different areas. Like business companies who uses English in their business or I will be traveling to different parts of the world for a business trip and English is needed because in fact, it is the universal language.
English I is very demanding in terms of written seat works and exams, so I must provide a sufficient works to pass the exam or seatworks but there are times where I had difficulty in the laws and regulations of English. My number one concern in written paragraph is synonyms because a sufficient and well done paper is made with more appropriate and elaborate words to sound good and be more meaningful. But sometimes, I remained in ease on writing with verbs because they been with me since Grade 1 so I would say this is my strength. The tasks given where mildly challenging because it is now common to me. I've been with English since I was a kid.
I therefore conclude, English 1 is one of my building blocks to a successful English speaker. It also gave me a newer and better point of view to English because all of what it given me a new found love for English.
