* Employees loyalty is also a major strength for the company

* Solae being a worldwide company makes it more attract to expand its customers more than its competitors.

Weakness

* Inadequate amount of retailers promoting the product.

* Lack of capital to fund advertisements.

* Issues with customers accepting new brand of product.

Opportunities

* Offering natural and tasty products into the market.

* Increase awareness about living a healthier lifestyle.

* Increased sponsorships.

Threats

* Competition from preexisting markets.

* The impact of the downturn economy that causes people to spend less.

* Companies offering other product for health benefits

* Lacking the ability to offer customer discounts.

Competition

Every business has to encounter competition in a competitive market. EAS is a major competitor in the protein shake industry that already has recognition in the market. This company makes snacks and other products, which are good for continuing to live a healthier and active lifestyle. Solae will offer customers a variety of flavors for the protein shakes in an effort to meet customers' expectations. The advantage Solae has over its competitor is they produce protein whereas the competitor has to purchase protein from vendors. Solae protein shakes will be placed at a low price with high quality to compete with its competitors. Although Solae will compete with companies that have products on the market for health benefits, Solae will continue to launch its new product.
