Nokia SWOT

Strengths

        Strength analysis of Nokia's position is that the company has a great reputation as a large mobile company with a wide network all over the world. Nokia in the mobile phone industry's largest distribution network and it also occupies a strategic decision more highly qualified and experienced senior management to take responsibility for decisions. Naturally as provided by Nokia's user-friendly products have also enjoyed a leading position in the mobile phone industry.

Weaknesses

        Weakness of Nokia is concerned because it is a major weakness of the lack of adequate technology innovation capability of changing its strategy in accordance with the requirements of the external environment changes. Another big drawback to Nokia this is does not have the latest system software used in Android for a long time mantra among mobile phone users. Since it is not possible to update the introduction of a market share of enterprise products and services which is a significant impact.

Opportunities

        In terms of opportunities, the recent performance of the mobile phone industry shows that there is a need to have a smartphone significantly increased among users which cover the majority of smartphone customer’s requirements. Thus, cell phone companies can have a good possibility to provide services to a large customer base in order to achieve a high growth rate in order to provide innovative smartphone offering advanced technical features. It is the ability to recover a decrease in market share by offering innovative mobile phone. (Brown and Lambert, 2012)

Threats

        The company that has created the Nokia limited pressure level of this threat is that Nokia is facing mainly of players such as Samsung, HTC, Sony, Apple and the industry because it covers innovative products in the mobile phone industry and market share. It affects the company's leadership, therefore an important reason for the level of competition in these market participants are concerned. (Bowman and Gatignon, 1995)


         The aforementioned company as it has a major financial capacity for this it has been modified more market share in the mobile phone industry. Some of the major weaknesses are that the company will continue to eat a huge market share in the face Nokia. It reduces the size disadvantage because of the ruthless competition competitors of the company.
