Identify natural and human-made causes of climate change visible in the computer simulation. According to the computer model, how have sources of heat-trapping pollution changed from 1750 to today? How does the simulation predict they will change by 2050?As we all can see all energy sources have drawbacks even the clean hydropower, some of the
advantages of clean hydropower energy are as follow: Nuclear power generation does emit relatively
low amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2). The emissions of Greenhouse gases and therefore the
contribution of nuclear power plants to global warming is therefore relatively little. Now the drawbacks
like any other nuclear power comes with it too. The problem of radioactive waste is still an unsolved
one.
Nuclear Energy is energy obtained by changes in the nucleus of atoms and is used in a method of
production of electric power. Nuclear power plants produce about 15 to 19 percent of the worlds
electricity and are a vital source of energy that helps support the power grid. Nuclear energy is produced
by splitting a nucleus to release energy in a process called nuclear fission. Nuclear fission happens when
the nucleus of an atom is split by another particle into two or more parts. Most of the energy produced
by this process is released into heat energy. The heat energy is transferred into water which turns to
steam. The steam produced is used to turn turbines and produce electric energy. Even though power
plants are regulated by federal and state governments to protect human health and the environment,
there are still many environmental impacts caused by power generation. Some of these effects are
displacing water from rivers and lakes for cooling and steam production and heavy metal build up in the
water can affect aquatic life (waste generated from uranium mining).
