INTRODUCTION
So, the topic that I going to expand it is ‘Old Town’ and the company was established in 1958 in Ipoh Perak that located in Malaysia with intention to provide the quality white coffee to every Malaysian household and food services industry, and the founder of the coffee shop are Mr Goh Ching Mun and the executive directors Mr Tan Say Yap that formulated their own blend of 3-in-1 instant White Coffee and start producing it in 1999. It has over 10 years of experience in the coffee industry.
In 1999, ‘Old Town’ were successfully commercialized the instant 3-in-1 coffee mix under the “Old Town” brand name for the retail sector. There are over 245 retail outlets around the world every retail outlet are selling their 3-in-1 white coffee. And get to expand their product to export to Asia countries. Until now, every citizen will like to go there for their Breakfast, Lunch even at dinner also can having at there.
In 2005, it decided to expand vertically into the food services industry by opening a chain of cafés encapsulating the traditional Ipoh coffee shop setting and ambience. This expansion into food services has met with success because Old town is today a regional food services company with cafés in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China.
