Online marketing is the word the most we are hearing today. it is about the marketing on the basis of online methods. this technique is mostly used by the business entities who sell the products through online as it is the simple way to grasp the attention of the consumers who want to do online purchases. for the consumers it is online shopping and for the retailers it is online marketing.
Marketing is an activity of creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for consumers, clients etc. online marketing is referred to as selling of goods and services through online by creating a website for the product selling company or registering in one of the online shopping sites like flipkart, amazon, shopclues, indiamart etc. and providing the details and description of the products manufactured by the company, mentioning its price and uploading the images of the products to attract the consumers and making them to purchase the product through online.
Nowadays online marketing is growing faster as everyone in today's world from elders to younger ones are having smartphones, laptops, tabs etc. so, companies can sell their products easily to their customers by using this online shopping facility. we can shop at online by viewing the shopping websites and select the required product, make the payment through online or by cash on delivery facility provided by the company and receiving the product by courier. this type of shopping is available for 24*7 hours. it is convinient at home or office. you can get a product by a single touch.
Yet online marketing has some disadvantages also. it is risky to make the online payments. educated persons can only do online marketing. it unuseful for those who are illiterates . privacy risks also committed. and the customer cannot touch and feel the product. but however, online marketing is useful for easy shopping to save time and energy of travelling to shops and getting them bought. this is one example to show that " tecnology makes the persons to improve their education level and knowledge".
