Any organization open to feedback is considered better for business and their customers. There are many things an organization can do in order to be more open to feedback. Developing friendly environment can be first step do in order to be open to feedback. In addition social gathering, direct communication with customers and employees, system for providing feedback, suggestion box and surveys will help organization open to feedback. Effective communication, leadership and problem solving training would be effective. If were boss I would have tell them that feedback from customers is our strongest endorsement. Feedback is information which helps organization to achieve the desired result by clients. In addition it also helps manager to get the information regarding strength and weakness of organization.

Focus groups are generally a group of ten or few people who represent the customers and tell the need and preferences of customers. The advantages of focus group are easy measure of customer's reaction, researcher can directly interact with the people, and this process is very quick and capable to use non verbal responses. The disadvantages of focus groups are- it is an expensive method as compared to questionnaires and surveys, it may fail to represent the large population, result may be biased and it can't deal with the sensitive topics. With the help of experienced moderators, specific set of questions, right audience and preparation focus groups can be really useful. Focus groups could easily go wrong, information and collected data may be invalid. As it is a group of few people, it is difficult to consider it as all customers' preference.
