The behavior of a paranoid schizophrenia, is a chemical imbalance that's hard to explain because each individual displays a different form of disorders do to the level of their mental capacity. Some fall into depression, withdraw from family and friends, hear unknown voices, hallucinate, walk away from everything they , and stop maintaining their personal hygiene's. I'm writing about this because I have had personal experience and contact with at least two people whom I love dearly. I will not name names but I will say that it pains me to know that there is not always a solution for helping them. It's very hard to keep tabs on them 24/7; making sure they take their medicine. To them, they feel as though the medication has no effect at all, that it keeps them awake for days at a time or they can't function because it makes them sleep too much. As unpredictable as they are, one thing I know for sure is that as long as they feel that they have the love and support of family and friends they tend to behave as normal human beings, they take their medications, get jobs, buy or rent homes. Most paranoid disorders pose no threats to anyone buy themselves. They will look for attention by lashing out or disappearing for days at a time, some have even contemplated committing sue aside and some have actually followed through by over dosing, jumping off high buildings/or through windows, etc., although it is an unhealthy way to get ones attention perhaps for now this is the only way they know how to reach out when asking for help.
