Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

Percy goes back to a Half-blood Camp that's in trouble because the tree guarding the borders has been poisoned. A new activities director, Tantalus, comes after Chiron is fired and is bent on giving Percy, Annabeth, and his new half brother, who is a cyclops, Tyson a hard time at camp. So after many accidents that they get blamed for, Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson set off after getting gifts from Hermes, they get on and off the demon cruise ship, the Princess Andromeda get attacked by a hydra, sail with ghost confederates, land on Circe's Island. At which point Tyson is missing and Percy gets turned into guinea pig, gets turned back by magic vitamins, steal Blackbeard's ship and sail to Polyphemus's Island to save Grover. They find Clarisse again, she blows Grover's cover and Polyphemus decides to marry her instead. Percy and Annabeth save them, Annabeth gets hurt, Tyson saves the day and they all get away. They save the tree, Tantalus gets fired, and Thalia comes back to life.
Yes. It is full of action and has a good story line with characters that come to life and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Yes. Many people like this book and is a good read.
On a scale of 1-10 it would be an 8.
There is no movie yet about this book, but I bet there is bound to be one, because they already turned the first book into a movie. I can't think of anyone I'd like to see cast in this movie.
Friends and family are important during trials.
