Personal Bio

Hello, my name is Dalian Ferrington. I was born on December 25, 1968 in Los Angeles California. I'm 40 years old. I have lived in Southern California for the entire 40 years. During those years I have lived in various cities within Southern California. My mother is from Mississippi and my father is from Dallas, TX. My father moved back to Dallas when I was two years old. My mother married my step father and they stayed together until I finished high school. I have two sisters, one older (43) and one younger (30).

I attended Burch and Shenandoah Elementary. I also attended Pasture Jr. High, Hamilton High and Rowland High schools. All schools are in the Los Angeles County District. Shenandoah Elementary, Pasture Jr. High and Hamilton High are in gang areas. It was very hard to concentrate on learning at those schools. Survival was more important then learning the basic arts and crafts. In 1983 my mother and step father moved east to a place called Rowland Heights. Moving me out of the gang area really gave me a change to start concentrating on school. All gang pressures lifted. I was able to enjoy what High School had to offer. I joined the basketball team and I was able to live a normal life. I graduated in 1986 and made my parents and myself proud. I was able to have a social life.

My plans after High School had me going to the Air Force. Unfortunately by having a social life in High School I met a woman who kept me away from that plan. I found a job at Bullock's distribution center in the City Of Industry as a ten key operator making computer price tickets for the merchandize in the Bullock stores. I then ask that woman I met in high school to marry me. I remember telling my mother and step father of my decision to get married at 17. My mother tried everything in her power to talk me out of it, but at 17 your nose follows the wrong scents. Now we need a place of our own to live. I remember going to my mother and asking her to let the two of us stay at her house. My mother gave me 30 days to save up me money and find a place to stay. The deal was, my soon to be wife would stay in my room and I would have to move in with my relative a few cities away. The 30 day dead line arrived and we moved to San Bernardino into a one bed room apartment for $305 per month.

San Bernardino was far away from my job so I had to find a closer job. Did I mention that my older sister also lived in San Bernardino? Nevertheless, San Bernardino was our new home. My sister's boyfriend who is her husband now told me about an opening at his job. So I applied for the position and was awarded the job as a lot lizard at a RV Motor Home sales lot. A lot lizard cleans motor homes and keeps the lot clean and neat. I worked my way up to
