The world has become more interconnected and business has more complex. Senge, (2006 p. 4) argues "our work must become more learningful. The organizations that will truly excel in the future will be the organizations that discover how to tap people's commitment and capacity to learn at all levels in an organization".
In a systems methodology to problematic issues, from the authors' perspective, there is no distinctive end to a system. There is no end game or an all-inclusive theory. Systems' thinking also incorporates change and a change process. The journey or the process is to look at a problem more systematically. While observing the problem through systems thinking, what you see is not always the way it is or will be, so one must also prepare for change. We are not only working with improvement of issues, but we must also consider that we are also working with human beings and sometimes mistakes and other issues arise. Senge (2006) suggests the resolutions come from rethinking how we deal with complexity. We all deal quite effectively with many highly complex tasks, like driving our cars. As it was when learning how to ride a bike or learning how to swim; there were levels of learning that had to be accomplished, degrees of complexity to overcome. The authors' objectives are to recognize the varying parts of his development and in particular, the interrelations of the parts i.e. motivation, commitment, desire, and experiences behavioral patterns, motives and its impact on others.
