Place represents the location where a product can be purchased. It is often referred to as distribution channel. It can include ant physical store as well as virtual stores on the internet. In ensuring the place are easy to access by the consumer to buy the product we also need to emphasize a way for them easily figure information regarding the product.
Small Shop
Placed on each hostel inside the campus, compared to size they are promising daily visitor of several costumer segment such as, student, staff and visitor in buying for their needs. FreshCare are placed on shelves near payment counter with other product lines for their own use such as oil treatment, Panadol etc.
However, displaying on shelves counter, there is no notes or banner that able to describe the product purpose and reach the customer directly from the display unless the worker does give a help regarding the product or customer itself is familiar with the product/brand and tempted to look for information on their own. Thus, we figure other way in distribute our products.
Shopee
They are recognised as the largest eCommerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, they aimed in making online shopping easy, secure and fast through its strong payment and logistical support.
Adjusting to the transformative power of technology, such platform is built to connect buyers and sellers in one community. As shopping on mobile devices becomes the new norm, it does give a space for a seller to directly display an information regarding the product and a chat room for communication and negotiation between those parties. Along with several benefits offered for the customer, the seller is encouraged to participate on the events held by Shopee or any sales organized periodically.
In addition of ways of distribution above, we do use other such as Instant Messaging Application WhatsApp to reach our customer for further discussion regarding the product and proceed with payment if they are interested.
Promotion represents all the communications that a may use in marketplace, it can be advertising, public, personal selling, and sales promotion. Advertising is any form of impersonal (one-way) paid communication in which the company is identified. However, we do practice in social media platform (free marketing) by post regularly about the product descriptions, usability, and why customer need FreshCare in their possession. Social media provides brands with a way of interacting, not broadcasting, in the space that consumers are already spending their time.
Instagram and Story Features
Normally, people react well to promotions when combined with appealing product posts. Post an offering with a product photo and add text (either on the photo or in the caption) that highlights the offer. It is a best practice to connect sales and discounts or offer with an occasion. We will Update the ‘Story’ regularly and it is a great way to keep followers engaged. Stories are located at the top of followers on News Feeds. This feature was the easiest way to get the followers to view the things we post.
