Popular American culture is the daily activities that consume and influence every one's way of living. The non-stoppable comings of new technologies everyday make us accept the fact that we are here to grow and live with it. American people develop and adapt with the change as a regular routine of doing business.
The iPod was released by Apple Incorporation in October 23, 2001. It is a portable media player includes the iPod, the iPod touch, the iPod Nano, and the iPod shuffle. Each differ in design as the iPod is hard drive-based, the iPod touch is touch screen, iPod Nano is video-capable, and the iPod shuffle is liked for its compact design.
The iPhone was introduced by Apple Incorporation in January 9, 2007. Internet and multimedia-enabled smart phones function as a camera phone, a handy media player, and an Internet potential with e-mail, web browsing, and WI-FI.
CPU was first developed in the mid-20th century (1945-1950). The first computer was a much larger than today's model. This was the size of a large room and consumes power equal to hundreds of modern computer. Today's computer models are based on integral circuits and are millions to billions of times more capable than the original model. Computers have come a long way. Today, almost anyone can do almost anything by sitting down in front of the computer. From on-line shopping to personal dating, computer can be anyone's best friend. Another technology that comes with the computer is the flash drive. This device can store thousands of information by the click of a finger. The downside of this is it is easy to misplace and personal information's could land in a wrong hand. Online degree is one of the most amazing developments this modern day century. When most of the American people are juggling in two or three jobs, the online schooling comes as a very convenient alternative to the campus base learning. This allows a parent who wants to pursue his or her career to make it a reality at his or her convenient.
Video games has come a long way also. The first time I heard my son talking alone in his room scares me. I thought he was crazy until I realized he was playing video games with his friends remotely. Players can compete with each other's while sitting at the comfort of their own bedroom.
GPS or the Global Positioning System will guide anyone almost everywhere. With the street by street guide by that lady's voice, gone is the old map that we use to follow before. The downside on this is it can make someone end up in a deserted road or a road which is closed because of weather.
Hybrid cars are also available. The price tags are a bit higher than regular cars but come with some good packages like environmental friendly emission and fuel consumption.
