Presentation methods for Deaconsbank Villages

Introduction

Our company has planned three different programs for a development 150 homes in the village of Deacons bank in East Lothian. And all these programs are quality in both design and construction will situate on two fields and on three plots. specifically, these programs is planning to deliver presentations with two most appropriate presentation methods for each program, the first one to Deacons bank residents, the second to the village primary school parents/teachers group and the third to local councilors.

Findings

Presentation methods for Deacons bank residents

This is a formal presentation and the purpose is to allay fears, answer questions, and illustrate details of housing styles and the village's completed overview. More exactly, the venue for this presentation is the village hotel ballroom with 100-150 seats, audio equipment and cost is well situated. So in this project, using 35-mm slides and electronic media is the relevant methods.

Using 35-mm Slides:

Acquire empty slide mounts. Cut each negative image apart carefully and place it to a mount (or an old 35 mm splicer block). At last, place each mounted image into the slide projector.

Advantages:

 High-quality images make deep impression to audience, and more lively.

 The cost is not too much and it adapt to a big venue.

Disadvantages:

 Transporting slides to other venue is a trouble.

 Leave empty slots may damage audience's eyes with bright white light.

Using electronic media (including software):

Install software like power point, place the screen and then connect devices properly.

Advantages:

 Making easily, and more functional (supporting multimedia devices).

 The latter part of cost becomes lower and reusable, though initial cost higher.

Disadvantages:

 Restricting the number of audience.

 It is not very convenient for removing.

Presentation methods for parents and teachers group

This is an informal presentation and the purpose is to show the proposed plans for one new classroom and a large playground area, and encourage them to offer up ideas and suggestions. Specifically, the venue for this presentation is in the large two existing classrooms with 18 confirmed people and cost is low. So I choose videos and photographs and pictures.

Using Videos:

Prepare a video player, a TV and some videos. Connect video player and TV. Put the DVD or VCD into the player and choose the part that you want be show.
