Some things in life are given but friends are something that you're not born with. From the time you're a child until you're an adult, friend's change. One thing remains clear, friends new and old will always be there even if you don't want them to be. Friends come in all shapes and sizes. Everyone has that friend that can get them whatever they need; the party animal, the quite one and the one that always has to start problems for the rest of the group.
Most people don't think you can make friends with someone that can't even talk or express their feelings. Most people do not know anyone that would like to have a friend that feels like they have a full time job. Animals completely are the exception to the unspoken rule, "love at first sight." When people think of friends they normally think of someone you can share your ideas with or vent to and hangout with and just be yourself. Animals even though cannot confess the same thoughts or feelings to people, do just a good of a job as listening and being there just as well as humans, only without the chance of negative feedback. When people hang out with friends it's cool because you get to hang out, have fun and not be lonely. Friends are diverse because they can be; acquaintances, work buddies or part of your main group. Not every friend is meant for the same purpose. Everyone has friends that they hang out with and can count on but can't help with everything. People just in general have a self-fulfilling need to want to be around others, but whether people know it or not, they do it for their own selfish needs to fulfill their wants. Friends' strive to fulfill their own wants and needs because they enjoy particular individuals' company and it's good for them. The fact that people use others for their own personal agenda is not ok but is something that is required for people to go on with their lives.
Animals although similar to humans, are not the same. Animals do not necessarily need each other, but they need love and compassion ship from other humans. Animals need to be petted, played with, cleaned up after and fed. If you don't see an animal for a week or so and can't spend every moment with them they don't stop being your friend or hang out with someone else, their always going to be there for you. When you get in an argument with a friend, potentially you friendship could have just ended. Someone is always going to be "salty" about what happened whenever you get in any other argument after that, because it becomes convenient to bring up the past to possibly win a new argument. When you get in an "argument" with an animal like a dog and you yell at them or hit them, they run away and pout. An animal will come back to you the next day cheery eyed and happy because they know you love them.
Having an animal is fun. People get to play with an animal every day and
