Racism

Treating people negatively based on the color of their skin and ethnicity without factual justification. Also, racism can be based on education and power. The more educated and powerful you are, the more you tend to see that each race has good and bad. This picture shows racism against black people. White people feel superior, in terms of scientific knowledge, technology and military power, towards black people, so they don't want to live and befriend with them. Segregation comes into people's mind when they don't want to have any physical contact with different race.

Discrimination

Criticizing someone based on their physical appearance, gender, age, race and religion. This picture shows discrimination between different cultures. They judged each other based on physical appearance and intuition, but not knowing each true identity. They think why each race dresses like that is to satisfy men and follow their rules.

Total Institution

A certain group of individuals who are secluded from modern world and they have different laws, beliefs, norms and clothing. This picture shows Buddhist monks. They forget everything about their past, which includes lifestyle, money and power. They follow a specific time when to eat and when to sleep. They also wear different clothing and they must fit to their new environment to live.

Subculture

A group of individuals who creates their own culture to have a sense of identity and they have different lifestyle, music and fashion from the main culture. In this picture, you are able to see a group of individuals called skinhead. They live according to their law and they do whatever they want without considering the norms. They also communicate through a discrete use of style, which includes fashions and gestures.

Poverty

Living in miserable situations where you are unable to earn enough income to keep up with the current cost of living. This picture shows a squatter settlement in Latin America. The people in this area don't have good source of water to drink and for hygiene use and don't have enough money to eat three meals a day. They live entirely different from normal people who can afford to buy things they want. Individuals in this vicinity are suffering from diseases
