"Kramer vs. Kramer" is a move that deals about divorce, a fight on which parent gets the custody over the child and family turmoil. When Ted Kramer successfully closed an account in his job in an advertising agency, his wife, Joanna Kramer, decides to leave him. She did not take their son, Billy Kramer, with her. At first, the situation was difficult for Ted because he is not physically and emotionally prepared to take care of their son. Another problem occurs when Joanna returns to demand custody over Billy. Joanna won the case but she decided to give the custody back to Ted because she realized that Billy is already home.

The film showed a situation that happens nowadays wherein the woman tends to become a housewife after she gets married. For this reason, some of them just depends on their husband which is not a good thing. I think that the wife should also work for personal growth. Another situation shown is about divorce. I personally think that divorce is not a bad option especially when the parents cannot create a loving and a healthy environment for their child/children. It might be difficult for the child/children to accept the situation but they will eventually understand why their parents have to divorce. The film also showed how Ted grew to become a good father to Billy. This scenario really made an impact to me because society usually portrays the mother-children relationship rather than father-children relationship.

Overall, I think the "Kramer vs. Kramer" is a touching film because it depicted situations that are happening in real life. The audience also gets to see how the main characters make decisions with the important aspects in their lives. The movie will make one realize that building a good relationship with your family members as our important as building your career.
