I learned that I am most happy when I can do something that will affect people around me in the best way possible. I am concerned about others before myself; I want to make sure that I am a good example of good sound morals and ethics at work and home. The way that I can use this to my advantage in the workplace is to help to make sure that everybody is being taken care of to the best of my ability. I want to make sure that my employees are given every opportunity to talk with me about questions and concerns. My employees should be treated with respect, trusted and feel safe in the work environment knowing that I am there for them. I do not let social pressures change the way I look at ethical decisions because making sure not to change the way I feel or think is something I will never change. At an early age I had certain things instilled in me that I want my kids to see as they grow up with their mom and dad. I have to be a role model not just in the community, but at home which is most important to me. If you never give the respect that everyone deserves in life people will never have the self-esteem or confidence they need to maybe get the job they really want, talk tom somebody they might otherwise not, or go back to school to get that degree they never finished. Respect is a key to self confidence.
