Purpose of the Map
Buying new furniture, appliances and electronics for an entire house requires a lot time and effort which makes it a complex consumer purchase. There is a lot of research needed in order to purchase the right product, at the right place and the right time. The purpose of this map is to identify the consumer’s purchasing process by analyzing the details associated in replacing old household products with new ones in a home.
Scope of the Map
- To review the consumer’s purchasing strategy and describe what it entails to get the product in a timely manner
- To be able to apply the consumer logistics model in a complex purchasing scenario
