Welcome

We are delighted that you have chosen our program for your child's needs. Strides are committed to providing a nurturing experience for your child with plenty of opportunities for growth in physical, cognitive and emotional development. Strides focuses on children with vision, hearing and cognitive disabilities. While at our program children will feel good about who they are and their worth. They will develop a love for learning and the ability to know how to learn from our comprehensive and interactive technology based curriculum daily. Our program provides dual support to the children we serve Children will be offered various activities in literacy, science, performing arts and homework support. Strides specialize in speech thereraphy and articulation. We encourage cooperative play, sports and games. The Strides staff is trained and experienced in working with children. All of our staff have or are working toward postdoctoral degrees in education or in the human service field. Strides provide its staff with ongoing professional development throughout the year. The professional development builds skills in relationships with peers and child to adult.

Mission Statement

At Strides we know that every child is different. We believe in the growth and development of every child and know the importance of individual discovery. Children will build character by learning to socialize, play and develop ethics and educational achievement. Our approach is to provide a curriculum that will cater to children with Vision, hearing and cognitive disabilities. We will focus on fostering self-compententacies in their ability to be self directed and confident. Children and family engagement is supported to help the whole child grow.
