RONALD RIFF: CASE REPORT
OFFICER TERRY SCHIELDS: INVESTIGATING OFFICER
MIDTOWN, MINNESOTA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Summary,
12:30 A.M. of May 3, 2012, a call came through to the Midtown Police Department. I was then told to go and investigate a burglary that had taken place at Marquette Market located at 914 Main St. Midtown, Minnesota. Upon my arrival I began my investigation by interviewing the owner of the Marquette market. As I continued my investigation by searching the property I took notice that the back door had been broken into and it seemed to be dome with a heavy object. I also came across the cash register that been broken open to leaving a little bit of change and a few checks. In the process of finishing my investigation I came across a very heavy hammer with no fingerprints in the alley next to the market.
