To whom it may concerns,
My name is XXXXXXXXXXX, I graduated from Kwalikum Secondary School in the year of 2008 with Honors. Upon graduation I received a bursary rewarding me for my academic achievements, and was excited to put it towards my future education. In the following September I enrolled myself at Vancouver Island University in the Resident Care Attendant program, knowing this was only the beginning of my education I was in no rush to use my bursary.
Having the desire to become a nurse I enrolled myself in a variety of school hoping to be accepted, being a demanding career it only resulted in my name being on the waiting list. During the wait I took a few classes to make the workload more manageable once I was enrolled in the Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I've currently completed first and second year Anatomy and Physiology and a Culture and Literature. It has now given me the opportunity to take second year courses in my first year which prepares me for my upcoming years.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could forgive my hesitation and give me the opportunity in using the bursary towards future career in nursing.
I know I have much to offer in my chosen career as a nurse, I feel that I've only exposed myself to a small portion to the vast field of health, and would love the opportunity to excel in this medical field. Given a chance to demonstrate my strong academic abilities, people skills and work ethic I feel I could be a tremendous asset to the medical community.
Sincerely yours,
