Compherence Sex Education or known as Sex education in school. There are many views of sex education; some people are for it and others against it, but a lot of people believe it is the parents' job/responsibility to teach their children about sex. Child would view sex education as a positive because they are comfortable with their parents, but that is a strong topic for most people. So it might make it uncomfortable for kids to talk about sex with their parents.

The average kid today is immersed in sexual imagery. A generation that has grown up on cable specials or by reading the cover of nearly any women's magazine in the grocery check-out line is familiar with the facts of life. Young people face a barrage of confusing messages. Along with titillating images from the media, some kids are told to "just say no" to sex. In school, others are taught how to put a condom on a banana in preparation for the real thing, and still other children receive no information whatsoever.

Kids are becoming more sexually active at an earlier age. Sixty-six percent of American high school students have had sex by their senior year. And these same teens are paying the price by contracting dangerous and sometimes deadly sexually transmitted diseases.

Young people are going to learn about sex and our question should be, where do we want our teens to learn? Form the media" From their friends? Or do we want them to learn from an educated, responsible adult?
