SON OF THE MOB by Gordon Korman
Book talk by amelia.
PLOT
Vince Luca is like every other teenage guy, except for the fact that his dad is the most powerful mobster in New York. Vince has always tried to keep 'the life' and his life separate, but when a body in the trunk of his car ruins his first date with one of the hottest girls in his grade, he's furious. Why can't his family keep the Luca business out of his life, his love life in particular... It's not as if he can explain to a girl why he's constantly tailed by policemen or why he doesn't invite her over to 'meet the family'? When he finally finds a girl who understands, her family turns out to be more of a problem than his. Her dad's an FBI agent, one whose life goal is to throw Vince's father in jail.
