1.0 Executive Summary
Stone Goose is a growing merchandising business with 30 stores in 10 major cities in the US including Alaska. We buy products such as clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, jewellery, fragrances, cosmetics, health and beauty products, home furnishing and decor products at wholesale prices and sell the same at retail prices. Our primary focus is to ensure sales of products at low prices to get higher-volume sales at a lower profit margin.
It is also a private limited company with plans to go public in the nearest future if certain goals are met. Our organization structure can be viewed below;

2.0 Problem Statement
Recent fiscal year-end financial statements shows 5% drop in revenue due too obsolete and nonexistent policies on social media marketing. The use of traditional print/TV/radio advertisements alone are not reaching a wide enough audience of different demographics and it’s also taking a huge cut out of our profits. As Chief Information Officer, Ill like to propose a new policy on social media marketing in order to boost our sales, hold on to current customers, bring in potential customers and increase our market share at a fraction of what conventional advertisement costs.
3.0 Proposed Solution
The solution that is recommended is to deploy the company for Stone Goose Company on all of the major social media channels; however, there is a major difference in creating social media platforms versus creating a brand you can promote on those platforms. A marketing campaign must be created utilizing the media channels and creating immediate engagement with your audience. In other for this to be successful, we encourage all staff to be on social media, acquire some fans, followers, subscribers, and connections and invite them to join our social media platforms.
The purpose of this is to promote Stone Goose Company which in turn helps in improving operational efficiencies, save money, increase revenue or market share, improve guest satisfaction, increase social responsibility, and enhance brand image and also solicit feedback from the target audience.
3.1 Methodology
3.1.1 Social Media Marketing
Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms and websites to promote a product or service, that is, the use of social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest etc. to reach variety of users around the world. The internet has the ability to reach billions across the globe and with social media; our company can directly interact with them and also receive direct feedback and detailed opinions on our product and services.
3.1.2 Benefits of Social Media
Social media platforms have millions of users every month and since most social networking sites can be used at little or no cost whatsoever, it presents a unique opportunity for Stone Goose to reach its full potentials.
The purposes of employing social media in marketing is to improve operational efficiencies, save money, increase revenue or market share, improve guest satisfaction, increase social responsibility, enhance brand image as well as improve communications that makes the company accessible to those interested in our product and make them visible to those who have no knowledge of our products. Social media platforms have millions of users every month and since most social networking sites can be used at little or no cost whatsoever, it presents a unique opportunity for Stone Goose to reach its full potentials.
