Jackson Pollack was a complex man who brought many things into the forefront of impressionism. Although he led a very short life of 44 years he was known as one of the pioneers of abstract impressionism. His abstract painting techniques and unhealthy psychological made him very sought after, studied. Inside his complexity hiding a brilliant artist that was widely considered the most influential painter of the 20th century.

One of Jackson's good life influences was Thomas Hart Benton who not only gave him his first true guidance in painting, but also introduced him to popular literature on psychology and to literary friends with special interest in the mind and its workings. The movie show Jacks Pollock as an alcoholic, with Mental problems and often an uncontrollable, angry and insecure man. However, when he painted, he found a sense of freedom and peace, a release from his anger and sadness.

Moreover the movie show the rise of Jackson Pollock to fame as a painter and we watch him struggle with life as his alcoholism, ego and violent nature wear him down slowly.

I think the filmmaker manage to communicate a sense of the artist's technique because like we see in the movie the filmmaker emphasis the scene when we see Jackson Pollock draw in unusual and crazy way and after we discovered how genius this way.

As i saw in the movie some personal details of Jackson Pollock help to understand his artistic objectives for example is wife Lee Krasner that Stand by him and often taking care of him and she was also an artist.

Moreover I think because Jackson Pollock had Mental problems and was anxious this character increase his desire to draw cause the drawing make him release from his anger and sadness and thanks to this he become one of the most brilliant artist of the 20th century.

In some case I identify with the artist for example when he was drawing he had to be in a full concentration and like we see in the movie he even not answer to phone and if friends or buyers
