aSummit Forum of the Financial Times 2009, I had a complete picture of China's economic situation and realized the importance of financial analysis in the field of economy and management.
To grip a comprehensive understanding of financial knowledge, I tried to take part in as many relevant practices as possible. During summer vocation in 2010, I interned in Hainan Jinsheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. As an accounting assistant, I assisted to handle reimbursement and prepared report forms, which were cumbersome but very important to a company. The days as an intern not only enabled me to improve my analytical skills and get an overview of finance system, but let me realize that my knowledge related to finance is quite limited. Therefore, I'm determined to seek advanced education on financial analysis in your post-graduate program.
My GPA is not high because I spend much time on extracurricular activities, which affected my academic performance. Although I have wider knowledge and experience compared with most of my peers, I realize that study is the foundation for development. I will pay more attention to academic achievement and learn to balance study and practice in my further study.
Along with the development of social economy, an increasing number of finance specialists are needed. However, there is a lack of senior financial analysts in China. That urges me to pursue in-depth study abroad. University of San Francisco, just shows such a perfect environment for studying, and provides advanced education system as well as high-tech teaching equipment. I know that it will be full of challenge but it will help me to become a qualified specialist in the field of finance. After completing my proposed program, I intend to come back to China to do some consulting work so that I can make contribution what I have learned to the community.
