The Systems Development Life Cycle will be fundamental to this paper. The role of a system analyst is to provide better insight on how to grow or make a company more productive. This role is very critical because its main purpose is to document all the clients requested needs and provide a solution to the problem. First the analyst has to recognize the change that needs to be made. Once the change has been identified the analyst's team prepares proposals for the project. Than the design phase begins. Next testing, training and system modifications determine if the analyst has provided exactly what the client needed done. This is called the Systems Development Life Cycle. In order for all this to be effective skills and knowledge are required such as good communication skills, understanding of hardware, software and making sure the team stays within the budget allowed. With technology rapidly changing and computers are basically used for everything a system analyst has to make sure there up to date.
