Teenage years oare a fundamental stage of each human beings life. Some people face this period of their life strongly and positively, while others face many problems and difficulties. This depends on the environment these these young adults live in, their parents, their friends , their living conditions, their education and much more. Adolescents face many problems such as becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol, being negatively influenced by their peers, self image and weight, or even conflicts with their parents.During puberty, many teens suffer with depression. The greatest consequence of all-the most dangerous--is dependence. When teens or anyone else abuse drugs and alcohol for long periods, it becomes harder and harder for them to stop.

There are many tell-tale signs a teen has started drinking and doing drugs. You can see the affects of drugs and alcohol through the teen's emotions, sentements, his or her withdrawal from family and friends, and in his or physical appearance. Many teens drinking and doing drugs do not have a close relationship with their family. They shy away from family activities and incorporating themselves in family activities.

Drugs are very addicting. They are addicting because you are sending a substance to the brain in certain amounts and because the brain likes this substance , it wants more, and if it dosen't get anymore it keeps sending the body messages telling them to get it. Drugs cause serious damage to the body and they can cause the body's organs to shutdown and damage the brain sending to many messages. People can also experience massive tooth decay from
