Exile Essay
It was raining that day, a terrible storm and all I heard was alone, alone, alone repeatedly as I walked through the doors of my college dorm. Just the thought of me leaving behind everything, friends, and family and also the comfort of my own room just scared me to death. My first day of college was supposed to be the most important day of my life, but it felt like the worst. Every senior once upon a time in their life is plagued with the thought on whether or not they want to go away for college or stay home. My decision was to go and dorm to get the full experience of the college life, which turnout to be one of the worst decision of my life. I figure with dorming I can get the full experience of me being independent with living on my own and not having to rely on my family, but I was wrong.
