Going through the "Values and campaigns" and "About us" of Body Shop, How might the values espoused by the company influence the manner in which "The Body Shop":

* Choose the Strategic partners:

The partners play a major role in the functioning of any business. The values espoused by the company play a major role in influencing the company in choosing its strategic partners.The recognized institutions support the same or similar causes. The partners should be of the same mindset and having the same or similar views as of The Body Shop revolving around the core ideal of protecting this beautiful planet and the people who depend on it. The partners should support the organization to achieve its objectives and spread its cause of natural beauty and protecting the environment.

* Advertise the fragrance to consumers:

As per my experience, the fragrance advertised to consumers is one which brings a mental image of health and well-being. Body shop products are generally available in fruit and vegetable fragrances. Their products depict their love for nature and he environment. The fragrance therefore makes us feel fresh, salubrious and invigorates us boosting self esteem.

* Develop new products:

The values of the company are the key determinants of developing new products. It is made sure that there is no animal testing, the raw materials are correctly sourced ensuring Community fair trade and therefore the best quality of raw material is procured. There is a commitment to seeking and sustaining natural materials and ingredients, and using all the planet's resources wisely, guides our approach to business. Even the packaging is totally of recycled plastic and reduces the need for 9 million plastic bottles a year. The recyclable paper bags are made of 100% recycled material.

Body shop even promotes various campaigns to defend human rights such as those against Domestic violence, taboos against HIV and AIDS and their prevention, Human trafficking, Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People and many others.

* How might these decisions in turn impact the body line:

These decisions affect the body-line by production and development of products that support the ideals of the company leading to a healthier life and cleaner and greener environment. Products that make us feel close to nature and campaigns that lead to valuing life and promoting health and well being, in a way which is profitable to the organization so that it can further carry on with its efforts and leap to greater heights.
