The introduction to drumming for Neil Pert started with any type of noise making device he could find. The equipment he used were magazines, pots, pans, metal garbage cans, books and even broken typewriters. His method for sticks to play with was either screw-drivers or sticks he found in the yard. The mess he was making from the tattered magazines and books convinced the parents for an upgrade. They bought him a drum kit. This new door of opportunities gave Pert the satisfaction he wanted for years.
To restate the comparison of young age drumming, this understanding will switch gears into Bonham's point of view. John Bonham had a complete drum-set as a child from his dad in the jazz age. He became a professional jazz drummer and played in shows. From all this experience of drumming and talent, he created something far more memorable that will last for generations. He introduced one of the greatest bands of all time, Rush.
John Bonham went through more bands to find his interest. It was a variation of reggae and rock. This great passion of the exciting sounds era started one of the greater bands to, Led Zepplin.
